All these variations are possible from one pattern. These photos accompany the full written pattern, which is available in my Etsy shop. The first slide show demonstrates the procedure through the Optional Overlay Round 1 and then the full hexagon through the last round. This second slide show demonstrates the procedure for the Optional Overlay Round 2.

These are just a few of my many "sketches" of possible objects made from hexagons. All hexagons portrayed are 12" (30.48 cm) from point to point across center.
