This pretty holiday flower is a great project for yarn scraps. Make just the flower for an applique or add rounds to make it a square for blankets, tote bags, scarves, cowls, shawls, and much more.
Size of square. 6” x 6” (15 cm x 15 cm). Size of flower. 5.5” (14 cm) diameter.
Skill level. Intermediate.
Techniques used in this pattern. Magic circle, slip stitch, chain, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, extended double crochet, standing stitches, working in the back loop, catching strands of leaf tips in later stitches, whip stitch, and needle join (aka invisible join).
This pattern has been professionally edited and fully tested for intermediate crocheters. However, adventurous beginners will find the free video tutorials (parts 1 and 2) very helpful to accomplish this project.
