Make Mine Lined
Soft Lining for Knitted or Crocheted Beanies

These instructions tell how to make a lining using soft, knit jersey fabric. It is sewn together by machine or by hand and attached to the inside of any knitted or crocheted beanie, using hand stitching. This makes any beanie soft on the ears, face, scalp, and neck. It also doubles the wind resistance and the insulation factor for a pleasant winter experience.
To determine circumference, measure around the head, over the ears. (See gold line in diagram below.)
To determine depth, measure from the bottom of one ear lobe, over the top of the head, to the bottom of the other earlobe. Divide that number by 2. (See blue line in diagram below.)
