Colorful and versatile, this lovely flower design utilizes the seven colors of the rainbow to make four 6” (15.25 cm) motifs. The motifs are then stitched together to make a 12” (30.5 cm) afghan block. The 7 colors of the rainbow are red, orange, yellow, green, turquoise, blue, and violet, but you can let your creativity “blossom” with any colors you choose to make a colorful square for throws, bags, blankets, afghans, pillows, etc.
Skill Level: Intermediate. Techniques include slip stitch, chain, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, extended double crochet, treble crochet, pointy picot, and needle join (aka invisible join).
Yarn: Medium weight (#4) yarn. Caron Simply Soft used in models. #caronsimplysoft
Tools: H-8 (5.0 mm) hook, yarn needle, and scissors.
