UPDATE 6/24/2020: Free video tutorial on YouTube for multi-color motif shows how to change colors and how to work the invisible join (aka needle join.)

FREE PATTERN: Coco’s Flower Blanket Motif**

Coco claimed this blanket for her own as soon as I laid it on the table. So, I named it after her. Size shown fits on a twin bed. Each 4.75-inch (12 cm) motif can be made with a single color of yarn or with a different color on each round for a fun, scrap-busting project.

Skill Level: Intermediate. Stitches and techniques include chain, slip stitch, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, popcorn stitches, and needle join (aka invisible join).

Finished measurement of each motif: 4.75” (12 cm)

Tools: H/8-5.0 mm hook, yarn needle, and scissors.

Materials for solid color motif: Approximately 0.3 oz/16 yds (8.5 g/14.6 m) of medium weight (#4) yarn. Samples in photos use Red Heart Super Saver Solids in Soft White.
